“My vision is to create an accessible platform for all surfers to experience maximum performance. For that reason I use the most innovative technology in the market, the CFD, Computational Fluid Dynamics for shape and design development.

The CFD fish pushes performance to the limit while respecting the traditional design elements of a bygone era resulting in a refined fish shape with traditional lines from San Diego. I have stretched the rail line to create a more forgiving and easy to use feeling, increasing stability during take off, increasing lift and manoeuvrability at high speed.

The tail is a double bat reverse fish tail, this design generates lift during tight turns and increases release, eliminating drag and increasing acceleration in weak conditions. The CFD Fish is a user friendly shape for all levels of surfers in everyday wave conditions.”

Boosted pop, speed, and strength with a high level of flexibility.
This is the new SF for our hybrid shapes.
The high-tech engineered composite fiberglass ”innegra fused” combined with eglass eliminates all the vibration of a classic epoxy board.
The wider carbon stringer 55 mm gives more break strength and a powerful pop than our old models.
All the new cloth and rolls are designed by Marcello Zani in collaboration with one of the world best composite company, Colan Australia, and are exclusive to Sequoia.
The ultra-light fused EPS assure a lively feeling under the feet.
SuperFast is not just high speed; the balance of all the most innovative materials brings the performance to the next level.

ROCKER:

After several analysts I decided to maintain a classic fish rocker, the pretty flat curve guaranteed easy take off an plenty of speed, a more curved nose rocker fit the new outline for a more maneuverable feeling and a more easy surf in bigger condition.

GLASSING SPEC:

The new SUPERFAST construction put together the brilliant performance of the epoxy resins with a flexibility feeling very close to the PU boards.

FINS SET UP:

To add a little more performance style I decided to set up the boards with a modern quad.

RAIL TYPE:

Mix with very classic 60/40 rail and a modern shape design.

Fins are a mysterious matter. Size, foil, shape, materials: there are too many variables to consider.

Sometimes we feel lost…and we quit. Paring a random fin to your board is pretty much like walking in another person’s shoes.

Mr. Marcello comes to help with a brief and useful lesson on fins and fish (tails).

The new rails line and a refined nose rocker guarantee a solid surf in a very wide range of conditions
